Solar PV Integrated UPQC-P for Critical Loads: Dynamic Performance

These findings show how an integrated UPQC-P array performs dynamically for critical loads, such as solar photovoltaic arrays (SPV-UPQC-P). The SPV-UPQC-shunt P’s compensator, connected across the load, transfers electricity from the PV array to the grid while adjusting for reactive power. The converter in the SPV-UPQC-series P adjusts for variations in utility grid voltage. A suitable voltage is supplied into the grid in phase with the grid voltage to compensate for sags and swells. The DC-link is connected to the PV array of the SPV-UPQC-solar P using a straightforward DC-DC boost converter. Matlab – Simulink is utilized in conjunction with a number of real-world scenarios, such as varying irradiation levels, fluctuating voltage levels, and step changes in load, to demonstrate the system’s performance.
