Introduction:
The Clean & Green Technology theme in Smart India Hackathon 2024 is dedicated to fostering innovations that contribute to environmental sustainability and the efficient use of resources. Many problems facing environmental protection and waste management cannot be quantified or compared in their sheer magnitude. With urbanization and population growth, there are many problems around energy, water, natural resources, and other areas. Through SIH-2024, Indian universities can take the lead in solving today’s environmental problems. By participating in Smart India Hackathon, these institutions can help to improve the air we breathe, address waste issues, solve cleaning problems, mitigate water scarcity problems, and more by utilizing technology.
Problem statement ideas can address critical challenges in areas such as renewable energy, water conservation, waste management, and escalate the work initiated under the Union Government’s “Clean India” mission. This competition encourages the involvement of students and faculty members who have a close-up belief in innovative technology to overcome real-life, open-ended challenges. Such innovative projects can lead to the discovery of new knowledge and the development of creative and cost-efficient methods for meeting industry and market needs.
