Smart Merit: Web-based System for Identifying Meritorious Students in Primary Education.

The project’s objective is to tackle the difficulty of precisely identifying deserving students in primary education throughout Gujarat by creating a comprehensive online platform. Educational institutions will input academic and extracurricular data, which will be authenticated using Aadhar numbers, and then organized using efficient algorithms. The system will generate compilations of exemplary students for education departments and universities, enabling focused assistance. The features encompass options for selection based on personal preferences, tracking and evaluating the progress of students, and tackling societal concerns. The technology stack consists of a microlithic structure comprising components in CSS, JavaScript, PHP, Servlet, and JAVA. These components are integrated with APIs provided by relevant authorities and secured using encryption algorithms such as AES-256 or MD5.
