Cosmetic Product Analysis: Identifying Patterns in Ingredients and Market Trends Using ML

The study carried out here focuses on cosmetic products so as to observe patterns present in components of such products and the global markets. Thus, based on the evaluated examples of a diverse range of products, one can study similarities and differences in their compositions and provide valuable information regarding consumers’ preferences and common practices in the given industry.

Our methodology includes:

  1. Data Collection: Gathering essential information of cosmetic products like, the type of cosmetic product, which ingredients are used, to which brand it belongs, and its
  2. Ingredient Analysis: Applying NLP methods for the analysis of the ingredient lists and find out frequently used compounds and possible
  3. Market Trends: Looking at sale trend analysis and customer feedback in an effort to determine cosmetics

most selling products and trends afloat. The work unveils interesting trends such as General prevalence of particular ingredients in popular goods and shifting consumers’ focus to more gentle natural and organic materials. Many influences are quite distinct and can be observed in detail when comparing various brands and types of products; they can suggest different consumer needs and wants.

The above findings would have implications on cosmetic producers as they can develop formulations which align with current market trends and people’s needs. Consumers will also benefit from this study as they will be in a position to make the right decisions concerning the products they use. Furthermore, the enhancement of the general understanding of cosmetic compositions, and their effects on the health and safety of skin is also a plus of the study.
