The purpose of the following research is to develop an enhanced dental implant with better secondary stability than currently produced dental implants. Osteogenesis secondary stability in dental implant is a process in which blood flows in regions where bone and implant make contact brings in osteocytes. The only possible way to improve the degree of secondary stability of a dental implant is to increase the contact area between the implant and bone tissue. Thus, in the following research, the authors have expanded the contact area between the implant and the substitute bone with the help of additive manufacturing and geometrical changes.
