The GATE 2025 online registration process will start from August 24 and the last-date for the submission of the registration form is September 26. As usual, the window to login opens, and then the applicants will be able to submit their application through the official website gate2025.
GATE is the national level examination to test the idea and command of different subjects of graduation like engineering, technology, architecture, science, commerce, arts and humanities etc. The examinations will be held starting from the February 1 through to the February 16.
Data Required for Filling the Online Application Form:
- Personal Information: ID proof: name, date of birth, personal mobile number, parents’ names, and parents’ mobile numbers. The candidate’s name should be entered correctly against the application form and the valid photo identity card, since the GATE 2025 scorecard will be generated in this name. 10 It is advised to refrain from using prefixes or titles like Mr, Mrs, Shri, Smt, Dr, Prof, Capt, Maj, Lt, Col, Er, Ar and so on.
- Address for Communication: And the PIN code as well.
Eligibility Degree Details
- GATE Papers: State the GATE papers along with their codes that the candidate desires to write.
- Examination Centre: The candidate has to choose any three cities of his/her choice for the GATE examination centre within the same zone.
- Payment Details: Fee payment details by filling up the fields of net-banking, debit card, credit card, or UPI.
Documents Required for GATE 2025 Application:
- Photograph: The colour photograph of the candidate passport size and quality of the image should be very clear. The background should not contain objects and persons and should be relatively white in color. The photo must be in Jpeg format and should not be more than 1MB; the photo should capture the frontal part of the face with eyes, the nose, lips, and the forehead.
- Signature: A clear photocopy of the candidate’s signature: The signature should be dark-colored preferably black or blue. Size of the photo: Recommendations for size of the photo in the passport should not over 1 MB.
- Category Certificate: Scanned copy of the category certificate if belongs to SC/ST, category certificate in PDF format if available.
- PwD Certificate: Scanned PwD certificate which has been pdf-ed, if any.
