Abstract: The aim of this project is to monitor drug distribution to medical institutions by means of a Drug Stock and Supply Chain Tracking System. The system will ensure that drugs are available in the right dose, at the right place, and at the right moment, so improving the efficacy of the supply chain for drugs.
Essential elements:
- Vendor Tracking tracks vendor activity involving supply orders and shipments
- real-time dashboard tracking of drug inventory as well as supply chain activity
- Consumption Monitoring: Track hospital and medical institution consumption of drugs trends.
Anticipated result: The system will simplify drug distribution mechanisms, so that the drugs are available where and when required and so lowering shortages.
