Development of Tyre Maintenance and Operation App for Dumpers

Abstract: Description: This project will create an app and IIoT device for tire maintenance tracking on high-capacity dump trucks. The application will improve the life of the tires and operational efficiency through continuous TKPH assessment and tire pressure monitoring in real-time.

Expected Outcome: Mining dumpers will be safer and more efficient in terms of operational – maintenance cost as downtimes associated with tire failures will be greatly reduced and costs impacted by the maintenance will also reduce safety hazards.
