Abstract: Description: The objective of this endeavour is to create a Computer Application Program that would be used by the Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) for planning bus scheduling and routing. The system will include automated jury scheduling whether the linked and/or unlinked duty, digitization of all existing routes and optimization of new routes including possible overlaps with the use of algorithms, data analysis, and GIS.
Expected Outcome: This project will achieve a working prototype of automated bus scheduling and routing that is more efficient in the conduct of daily operations, reduces the incidence of mistakes in execution, makes better use of available resources, and raises the level of public transport services in Delhi.
