A novel solving method for multi-objective decision making problems under fuzzy conditions

by Shivam Kashyap

A satisfying optimization technique for fuzzy multiple purpose optimization problems are proposed in this work. Actually, the given approach achieves the trade-off between fuzzy importance demand and optimization. Usually, the main goal of the given method is to reach the higher desirable satisfying degree by means of more important objective achievement. In practice, vagueness and inaccuracy of the goals, constraints and variables in this problem make the decision-making difficult for decision makers who must contend with the parameters to make the optimal decision. Therefore, several fuzzy relations and fuzzy importance are proposed for the reformulated optimization models that utilize goal programming. Actually, by means of parameter λ, decision-makers can choose the suitable alternative based on their preferences from several solutions. Using the suggested model not only can the fuzzy importance need be simultaneously realized but also the desired outcomes of all the objectives can be obtained. Furthermore given to show how the model is used is a numerical case. At last, the suggestions and final remarks are offered.
