Special Support for Research and Innovation by UGC 2023 and Fellowship Program

Special Support for Research and Innovation and Financial Assistance

The SSRI scheme provides financial assistance to universities and colleges for the following activities:

  • Organizing workshops and seminars to promote research
  • Setting up research centers and laboratories
  • Providing equipment and infrastructure for research
  • Providing research fellowships to faculty and students
  • Providing travel grants for attending conferences and workshops

  • Senior Research Fellowship (SRF) for students who have completed their doctoral studies

  • Maulana Azad National Fellowship for Minority students
