Abstract:

In response to the need for enhancing India’s primary agricultural sector, this project proposes developing an Automated Crop Monitoring and Management System using Arduino. The system will include sensors for soil moisture, temperature, humidity, and light intensity, which are crucial parameters for crop growth. These sensors will be connected to an Arduino microcontroller that continuously monitors these parameters.

Features:

  • Real-Time Monitoring: The system will provide real-time data on environmental conditions and soil health.
  • Automated Irrigation: Based on the soil moisture levels, the system will control an irrigation system to ensure optimal watering of crops.
  • Data Logging: Data collected will be logged and analyzed to provide insights into crop health and necessary adjustments.

Expected Outcome: The system will help farmers manage their crops more efficiently, reduce water usage, and improve crop yields by maintaining optimal growing conditions.
