Real-time Emergency Response System using Geolocation, Data Analytics, and Machine Learning

In an era of increasing connectivity, ensuring safety and timely assistance during emergencies is paramount. This thesis presents ReachOut, a comprehensive emergency response application prototype. Developed as part of the Smart India Hackathon, ReachOut uses geolocation services, real-time data analytics, and a robust backend powered by Node.js and MongoDB to provide users with immediate access to emergency services. The application features SOS alerts, live tracking, and community assistance options. The integration of machine learning algorithms enables predictive analytics for potential threats. ReachOut aims to bridge the gap between users and emergency responders, enhancing safety and response times in critical situations.
