Abstract: Description: It is known that disaster management organizations and responders face a challenge in obtaining accurate information in a timely manner during emergencies. To solve the problem, the project aims at creating an information system that will collect and then process the information about the disaster from the social media, the news world and other outlets in a more efficient way.
Expected Outcome: The project will lead to development of a software that incorporates and organizes disaster information in a more efficient way allowing for improved and timely response to disasters by the concerned organizations.
