Development of a Smart Home Automation System using Arduino

Smart home automation systems have evolved quite a lot recently, allowing consumers to control their household appliances with their cell phones. The design and implementation of an automated home system designed for Android devices is presented in this work. The system allows users to manage a range of appliances, including ceiling fans, light bulbs, gates, and water pumps. The system controls servo motors and relays Bluetooth integrated on an Arduino board. Users of devices linked inside the Bluetooth module have control and monitoring ability. This feature improves efficiency and motivates sensible energy use. While an automatic fan speed control system controls the temperature to save energy, an LCD display provides most recent information on water levels and room temperature. Moreover, the system combines a door-locking mechanism to improve house safety. Compared to conventional systems, this one offers improved dependability and efficiency particularly in the management of water and electricity.
